Our govt says at the moment that they wont be letting anyone out of Australia till mid next year. So that narrows the field a bit.
They are one of the few countries having big competitions, thus they can get better competition results. Why are chinese cubers so good all of a sudden? Because there are still competitions over there. We can't overestimate them just because they had more opportunities.
I discussed this in the rise of the Chinese cubers thread. If you watch the GAN speed aces interview, a lot of the young kids started in preschool in cubing clubs. If we had cubing clubs in preschool I guarantee you would see more fast solvers come up.Why are chinese cubers so good all of a sudden? Because there are still competitions over there. We can't overestimate them just because they had more opportunities.
Why is there a bump of a comp from the past that didn’t even happen?Hmmmm I think it’s gonna be Phillip Weyer
Joke or not, a bump is still bad.Oh shoot I misread it and I thought it was 2019 and I was trying to make a joke lol
A bump is a big gap from two posts in a thread. Say I made a post in a thread from 2012, and you replied now.Wut is a bump
They take up unnecessary space and most of the time the topics are either old and outdated or already have enough discussion and roughy on themNit trying to be annoying but why are bumps bad
