The Trump Administration has been deporting some people to El Salvador without Due Process. Usually, its people deemed "illegal citizens" or it could be people who are protesting against the government. Feliks specifically, being a white Australian, is not part of the demographic that would usually be deported, but I imagine David's comment is a worry that many of the international competitors are thinking about.

Edit: I realize that my comment is not that elaborate on the situation here in the US, but basically, just read some news articles about the Trump administration. Tbh, I am quite surprised you aren't already aware of the deportations. It's quite common knowledge in America.
