That's because you suck at them. Scramble cubes more often


I did an average of 100 of 4x4 a while back... it took like 3 hours, and the average was about 1:02. I've also done average of 60 on computer 5x5, average of 40 on computer 6x6, that kind of thing... long sessions are fun, but I rarely set out to do them on purpose, I just keep solving until I'm bored and it just happens

When I take the time to do something like an average it usually takes about five solves for me to get warmed up and reach decent times, then I tend to get the best times after around 10-15 solves after that it is pretty much downhill
(uphill?). I don't practice much, but I do find that solving the cube once or twice a day actually improves my average a little bit every month.

The part that took the longest was inspection(11 seconds on average), then solving(9 seconds on average), then scrambling(7 seconds on average). For 3x3 my scrambling takes around 8 or 9 seconds and for 2x2 it takes 7 seconds.

yea some are slow but for cubes 5x5 and up are really long scrambles

i know how you feel, i did an avg of 50 with the magminx and i dont even solve it much and i got sub 3 average

Wow I don't get how you guys improve your times doing averages of 100..my avg of 100 (well, maybe 50 or so..I never did finish 100 solves everytime) is usually not that good, considering I'm inconsistent and I get really bad solves that spoil everything..

Lol I did a OH average of 150 once I had a lot of time to do stuff over the summer Average was like...29 or sometin like that.
