I once did an average of 40. Generally the solves got better by about 2 seconds, and my times were slightly slower than what yours are now. My best and worst times were about mid-way through the average.

I liked the fact that I just did a session that long, with no break over (something like) a minute.

an average of a 100 was not nearly as painful as the 42 cube marathons i've done. the not stopping does make you sore after a bit. i can't imagine how people like andrew kang and others do a few thousand cubes in the 24 hour marathon.

wow, id get dizzy after 24 hours of nonstop, and it was my first so im not used to it

I just did an average of 50 yesterday. I got my new 10/12 pb and my new single pb, so I was pretty happy with the results.

I figure at speeds like yours and mine, if you do that many solves, you're guaranteed to break a pb or two :p

wow... I'm impressed... I've never gone pass 25 before quitting... maybe I'll try tomorow...

I don't think it helps THAT much, if you just did that many solves normally (not in a row) I think you'd get just as much better. For me I tend to often set average PBs during long sessions, just because I have enough solves that I'm much more likely to get one really nice run of solves somewhere in there.

yea i know, the 3 were really easy scrambles, and i probobly do 50 a day but i dont time so if you timed yourself you would know when you get a pb

This thread inspired my to do a big avg, and got a 26.something avg. of 40, with a PB of (see my sig). which is like 3 seconds better than my previous PB!

imagine doing a 7x7 avg. of 100!

Next weekend I may just do a 7x7 avg of 100.

seriously, I am taking it as a personal challenge. I will get it on video and speed it up like 300 times to make it youtube-able.

i would love to see that video, i dont think you could do it in a day, depending on how long it takes you because scrambles are a pain in the but to do
