Well, they all have their pros and cons. I guess it mainly depends on personal preference. I prefer the Fridrich method because it allows me to intuitively construct the F2L and then use previously memorized algorithms to complete the last layer. (The Fridrich method requires the use of both my "memory" and my own "intuitive logic")

The same as all the other methods. All these methods have intuitive and memorised sections.

Yes that's true. For the most part, I find myself slower whenever I try using the Petrus method. (I tend struggle on identifying "bad edges"). I've never really practiced the Roux method so I can't really talk much about it.

I personally don't think their is a "best" method. It really depends on the person doing it. Majority of the cubers use Fridich, thus you would have more fast people using that method, because it's majority. If the majority used Roux or Petrus, I believe those categories would dominant, just as Fridich now.

It would be interesting to know what the fastest time (you can find) with each method is.

Roux isn't really my type of method. Mainy beacause of the last step, I stink at moving the middle fast.:(

So far the score is 2/14/2. I have no doubt that Fridrich will turn out to be used by most. The interesting thing would be to see how many people don't use Fridrich (relatively) and how the balance between Petrus/Roux lies.

I think Corners first should be added to the list because I have met people at competitions and meetings that use that.
