new diy cube advice?

hey guys, i just got my first diy cube and i want to lube it.

the only silicon spray lubricant i have is this one:

its the one which says silicon spray.

cud someone plz tell me whether it works or not..thx

It should work, since it is silicone spray. I haven't seen a silicone spray that doesn't work. And you don't need much, just a little spray.

It should say if it's plastic-safe or not...

I have a diy also, and I tried Stuff from Home Depot called Liquid wrench. Dont use it it sucks! And it is kind of ironic b/c my dad is a manager at Lowes, hehe, as for your stuff, just make sure you read the labels really good for oils, etc.

I use Liquid Wrench and it works just fine for me. :x

and make sure you screw the screws in striaght.if you dont i wil cause problems down the road.

i have that exact one and it works great , i once put too much(or what i thought to be too much) in my cube, and now its so smooth and quiet that i might do that with the rest of my cubes.

I have that exact lubricant and it works great at least it gave me my first sub-minute single and avg. Hope it helps.

Is the WD-40-Pro-Silicone-Spray safe for the cube?

Works fine for me too. Waiting for it to dry is a pain though.

I used to use the small yellow one, and it worked OK, not saying that its bad or anything, but I now use an Airsoft Barrel Lubricant, and my cube works like a wonder, trust me, just add a little bit of this heaven on it, and KABAM, decreased my times by about 7 seconds!
