How do I solve the X2 Parity?

So the X2 puzzle, I recently got it and realized it's solved like 2 X Cubes. But the thing is, when I'm on the last outer side, I sometimes get a parity. Now, all of the regular parity algs for the X Cube don't really work since it messes up the cube since there's now 2 layers on every side (not 1 on every side like the X Cube). Does anyone know how to do this? JRCuber's video didn't help as he did something weird for an adjacent parity. Thanks.

I got an X2 a couple days ago. It's my first cuboid puzzle. I'm seeing the same exact problem. I have two either adjacent, or side by side edge pieces switched on the last layer. If I fix them, it kindof looks like a cuboid parity along the cylinder. I can't find on-line where people get a parity with cubiods after finshing the last layer though. It seems like the parity just moves around no matter where you try to solve it.

I don't have an X2, but this is how I would solve it if I had one. (Disclaimer: not tested; may leave your puzzle in a more scrambled state than before.)

Hold the puzzle with the crosses on the left and right sides and the layer with parity on top, then do a commutator to cycle three inner edge pieces (the edge pieces on the inner "X" layer), two of which have the same colour. To wit, you can use something like this, except you ignore that I'm using a 7x7x7 for visualisation purposes because alg.cubing doesn't support non-cubic puzzles.

This introduces a "parity" into the inner layer, so now you just do the double-layer parity alg (R Uw2)5 and finish your solve without parity.

Exactly the same here!
