Some questions for people coming from CFOP (or anyone that knows), in a 10 seconds solve OLL + PLL would be like 4 seconds? If using Roux in a solve and you see than when you finish the F2B the F2L are also done, can you decide to do OLL + PLL or continue doing Roux depending if you have an easy case with one method or the other? Is that even possible with good lookahead?

yes, you can do whatever you think is faster, but f2l being solved after f2b is very rare.

https://youtu.be/sIGYCueSTyQLet me now what I need to work on please. I am fairly certain it is look-ahead and efficiency. What else should I work on and how should I work on it?

I agree with Neil that it would help a lot to turn off the inspection timer. It helps you learn to plan out more of your solve and in time it gets faster.
I would also say take the time to learn a better M fingertrick. GuRoux has a good video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YrzoIXIJAyg
Reaching over to BU takes a good deal of time, and while it is a bit annoying and takes time to get used to, pushing DB to BU is much faster and you won't get as many lockups.

I'm building a (web) CMLL trainer, it will be probably be finished next week or so. I'd like to hear some recomendations/ideas before it's too late to change things.

I think it will be a simple page with just the scramble (it will probably be just a few different scrambles per CMLL case + AUF), an "image" of how the last layer of the scrambled cube must look like and a timer.

In the settings page you will be able to:
- select which sets to train.
- if you want L6E to be solved.
- if you want to see the cube or only the scramble.
- select your color scheme and which colors can be used for your first and second blocks.

Ideas?

learning Roux

Let me know your suggestions for improving my sequence with this scramble, especially the second block.
B2 R' U D F2 L' U2 F L2 U F D2 R2 B L2 B2 R2 B' U2 F2 D2

FB: F L2 r' U' r F' r B' r2 B = 10
SB: r U' R2 U2 r' R2 U2 M' U' R2 U M U2 R U' M r' U R = 19 / 29

for your first block:

x2 F' M' B U' r2 F'

for your second block:

M' U2 R2 U r M' U R U' r' U r

for your first block:

y2 F' M' B U' r2 F'

I get nothing from that, have tried it three different times and get the same thing. Perhaps I'm doing it wrong but not sure how. If possible, I'd like to get evaluation of the sequence that I did, without doing rotations to start from a different face. For example am I missing obvious things, or is the strategy basically okay at this point.

Correction: x2 F' M' B U' r2 F'

That first y2 should be an x2.

Good catch, thanks. I was thinking this was beyond me. Now the FB works :) but the second block doesn't show anything.

On a different step, how long does LSE take to learn for someone who's beginning, and is experimenting the best way to learn it? I've gone through the websites and videos but they aren't clear to me.

That second block was made to work with your first block.

I've found this alg for CMLL U4 (double slash) case:

R' U2 R U2 L U2 R' U2 R U2 L'

It's easy to remember, maybe it's a bit slower than U2 R' F U' R F R' U R F' ...but I don't know because I suck at finger tricking (and F turns), which one should I learn?
