Heres a quick review on the Moyu Weilong+

Received from the cubicle in February

The turning on this cube is smooth and buttery with a fast speed. It may be Uncontrollable for some people though as a 19.5 second solver, I have
Little trouble controlling it. Corner cutting is quite good at 50-55 normal and 3/4 a cubie reverse. The cube is next to Impossible to pop though center
caps popping out can be an issue. I receive no catching or locking up from this cube. The cube can corner twist. Also the hardware is very high quality.
I got this cube unstickered and put my own color shades on, the stock stickers seem to be regular Moyu stickers with nice quality and decent shades.

Grade: A- Recommendation: Yes

This cube is my main speed cube and I would recommend it to anyone who likes smooth fast cubes.

(ps 200th post!)

bought from ukcubestore

bearing in mind i have the the mini version. the best way i can describe the feel of the turning is 'creamy', its super smooth with a slight resistance too it also but nevertheless its fast, turning fast it feels bumpy and has a low click sound. corner cutting is as usual with any new cube these days. catching + locking occurs on loose tensions when reverse cutting but this goes away on medium tensions. i have had 1 pop on reeeealy loose tensions. corner twists are not an issue i have had none.

Recomenation: yes. you could average anything and still have a good time time with this cube.

this is a well rounded cube, it can still hold up to the newer 3x3s coming out.

this is my OH main. contemplating whether i should get the 57mm version.

I am having an issue with my weilong actually,
I bought it as a DIY kit frok the cubicle.us

very nice feeling and great speed
I had to slow it down at the beginning but now I'm used to the speed
I love the cube and it's my trusted main
However, I can't seem to cut 45 or past 45
the corner just catches on something
and I have reasonable temsions
Any help?

How reasonable are your tensions
Mine Cuts way over 45

reasonable.... lol
I've tried loostening and tightening it but it's the same
know i'll never need it in a solve but even my zhanci can cut better lol

though the weilong can still cut small amounts very easily.

I took my torpedoes out a while ago

Try again, with the torpedoes back
--------
I don't think you need to cut 45 or past 45 ( unless you are very inaccurate)
BTW, I maybe ignorant but why the lol?

I have tried with the torpedoes in
what seems to happen is that the corner catches on the edge in the E layer

Weilong v1

Explodes like heck

No, it doesn't at sensible tensions. I can't remember the last time I had a pop on any 3x3 other than my really loose Gans 3 (tightened it now) and my main is a WeiLong V1 (which is almost identical to V2 except pieces are built differently so stickerless aren't possible).
