Sometimes cubes can vary in quality, but I do not think this is a factor.

As other people have said, maybe there is a problem with the internal mechanism, and Zhanchis pop when the tension is too loose. I can not help you too much in the hardware department, as you have tried lots of things. You should check the supplier from eBay and see if it is legit, for example I bought a stickerless Zhanchi off Amazon and the supplier was legit.

The best thing to do is to by a new Zhanchi off somewhere that is reputable like a cubing store, and compare it to your terrible Zhanchi.

Good luck!

I've got one from TheCubicle that looks exactly the same, so I am pretty sure it's genuine. Not sure why they changed it, but it doesn't matter really.

been doing a little research into this and I believe it was due to the caps having a lot of problems with popping off mid solve. In order to keep that from happening they added these pegs.

My aolong V2 cannot corner cut

Just like the title says my aolong V2 cannot corner cut. for some reason if you arn't going slower than anyone would ever speedsolve it will lock up. If i loosen it anymore it pops and the layers have much friction as i turn them. There used to be lube in it but i cleaned it out when it started doing this. I did lube it so it is possible that i have a crooked screw. I did check and i thought they looked fine. If anyone has had this problem or knows what is happening please help.

I got an unstickered black Weilong V2 from the cubicle.us this past week

I like it so far, very smooth, smoother than my Aolong v2
I'm still breaking it in but I'm having some issues.

Even though my tensions aren't loose (at least I don't think they are)
the weilong seems to have trouble cornercutting 45 and past that
the corner seems to catch on the edge in the E layer or on the center piece
I've tried tightening the cube several times but the same thing still happens.
I know I'll never need to cut 45 but it should be able to cut with ease if I try.
the reverse cutting is fine though

Any suggestions?

I know how to fix this:

1. Call your local emergency number. This can be located by thinking because if you don't know it you're stupid. (Usually it's 911 or 000)
2. Ask them what time it is.
3. Hang up.
4. Buy a new cube
5. Wait for the new cube
6. Get the new cube
7. Lube and tension and stuff the new cube!

You're welcome! :)

I recently got a 54.5mm weilong, its a pretty good cube, its just kinda slow. It was slowish out of the box, I've tried wt 2 lube, it helped a little but I thought maybe I had used to much, I've tried wiping it out, whatever, I've also tried tight and loose tensions I just can't seem to get this cube to be fast at all, and from what I've read this is very atypical of weilongs. Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe I just need to break it in?
