Need Pyraminx Method Advanced please.

In the video, drew said it only takes a couple hundred solves to be sub7. I've done 650 solves and I'm barely sub12. Do I suck? I'm using a method I made up, but it's basically just advanced keyhole.

Practice is important, but you also need to have a good method. Honestly, I'd recommend learning 3 or 4 methods (Oka, Keyhole, LBL, 1-flip, nutella are all good) so that you can use the best for each solve. Or keep doing it intuitively, but try to make up your own algs and try to find better ways to do things. That's what I did, and I average 4-6.
