Would this give me a penalty in comp? (megaminx, half popped)

If only one corner is twisted it isn't a DNF, like on a 3x3x3 beacuase it is still unambiguosly solved. So i think it wouldn't

I would say it's unambiguously not solved.

I think it is a DNF. You should correct the mistake before stopping the timer and it would be a valid solve.
