Which method is right for me?

So basically with intuitive F2L (no memo required) and 2 look OLL (6* algs to learn) and 2 look PLL (5 algs to learn) you can half your times.
This will require practice but if you enjoy cubing will you really consider it practice?

*I assume you already know Sune even if you don't know it by name (R U R' U R U2 R')
Anti Sune is just this backward which won't require much effort to learn.
Double Sune can be performed as 2 Sunes smashed together with a minor change in the middle.
So really it's only 4 algs to learn from fresh.

Great links hic! I will try and check them all out.

Anonymous, thanks for helping clear up some of those steps I should learn. I see a lot of research and (word of the day) 'practice' in my near future.
I will, I just need some new algs and methods for solving the cube instead of doing the cross, first layer, second layer, cross on top, make sure corners on top are right, then put the edges in place, then do the R' D' R D to get the edges correct. That method (beginners) takes SOoo long to me, even when I cubed for what seemed like an hour out of my day in the past.

Any other good links, ideas, words of wisdom, etc?

Yeah, get rid of that R' D' R D as soon as you can and switch to the 4-look last layer as decribed above.
The video link to Badmephisto's 2 look OLL is a very good place to start and check out his website too.

There are some great sheets for 2-look as well as 1-look PLL.
