Which 2x2 method should I learn?

Less Algs: Ortega
More Algs: EG
Medium: CLL
ortega can be sub 4, and the other two can be sub 3

LBL isn't that difficult to sub4 with. I've done a 3.3x avg12 with pure LBL/Ortega.

Meh i found ortega only easier to sub 4 with
Using LBL alone is usually harder for me because of the long pbl alg

LBL= Layer By Layer
The algs are basically the 2LookOLL algs for orientation and the Tperm and Y perm for the permutation.

ortega is quite ideal for sub5 avrg considering the fact that it uses very little algos, just it's 3 look lol.

LBL or Ortega if you dont want to spend ages learning algs but dont mind being a second or two slower than you would be.

I currently use Ortega to solve the 2x2, what methods are out there that are faster?

full EG is currently the fastest method.

Full EG, which includes: EG-1, EG-2 and CLL. All of those take 2 steps to finish the cube. Most people move on to CLL after Ortega.

I wouldn't say steroids, it's just combining the last two steps

If you're going to learn EG, you'll want to learn CLL first, then EG-1 (then Anti-CLL? Idk much about this), then EG-2. CLL can be very fast on its own, but 1-looking is much easier with EG. It's also less moves.
