Hi,

I am into speed cubing for a while. I use simplified Fridrich (two step OLL) with times around 50-55s, recently I started to make more sub50 (PB 38.5s, 10of12 49s).
Now I am using standard Rubik Cube. (no corner cutting and this sort of stuff) like this https://www.rubiks.com/shop/product.php?pid=7
Do you think it is a good time to get some more speedcubing cube (like ShengShou Wind or Dayan Zanchi) or maybe I should stick with standard cube for a little while?

Why I want to move to more speedcuber cube? Because I want to start to learn how to feel such a cube. I think my algorithms are quite fast, I loose so much time because of no looking forward (but I started to working on it). But I am a little afraid, that if I move to such cube too fast, I will have not enough precision in hands to maintain really good times (like sub15).

Switch to a better cube exactly when you want to. People who say you need to be fast before getting a good cube are mostly being silly.

I can recommend the Shengshou Wind, compared to the Rubiks brand it is much easier to turn, it´s faster and can also corner cut decently. It´s a good middle ground between Rubiks and real speedcubes like the Zhanchi and Guhong.

I agree with kunparekh18 and am about the same times as you. There's no need for an "intermediate" cube and it's a fallacy that you can be screwed up by getting a cube that's "too fast" for you. It's a just a cube, not a motorbike. Just get the best you can and lube and tension it until you like it.

The answer is now.
Agreed with ZhanChi, I switched from GuHong to it, needs some breaking in though.

Yes get a Zhanchi.
I was averaging 23s with my Rubik's storebought cube and that was obviously a mistake.
Just don't get carried away with the tps and remember to look ahead!

the cubes with coloured plastic are not competition legal. Get the black one if you want to use it in competition.

Switch like... yesterday. Cos with a store bought you'll unknowingly be learning heavy handed finger tricks. Switching to lighter finger tricks would take time then. I guess even a newbie should start on a pro cube so that you don't learn any bad habits to begin with :)

I would actually recommend a shengshou wind instead. The thing is, cubes like zhanchis are so fast they are a bit uncontrollable for rubiks brand users. I have been cubing for a few months, and I can get around 35 seconds solves with my rubiks brand. I am currently using a shengshou wind, which is really good after lubing with maru lube (corner cutting 45 degrees, reverse 3/4 of the center cubie) and my P.B is 20.46 secs, I average at 28 secs. But on a dayan guhong V1, my PB is 22.3 secs. It really depends, if you think you can handle the speed go with the zhanchi! If you just want a better cube, go with the shengshou wind/ Witlong.
