Im not sure when I should be learning full pll I average low 20s and can sometimes get 17s 18s and 19s my current PB is 11.396 (fullstep). I currently use 4-look last layer which means I use 2 look oll and pll. But my last layer isn't as fast as I would like however my f2l and cross are really good I've been working in my look ahead a lot but I've held back on learning full pll (I'm also Color Neutral). So when should I learn full pll? Thanks for any help:)

I honestly don't understand why so many people make threads like this. It does not really matter when you start learning PLL and I'm sure you would have survived without making this thread (not just you).
And 90% of the time, the answer to these kinds of thread is: "I don't really care, do whatever you want."

Sorry if it's a bit harsh, but I have been getting really annoyed.

In my opinion full PLL is pretty easy to learn. I started learning PLL when I averaged high 30s and finished probably at ~32.

For OLL, I recommend starting to learn some of the easier olls maybe right after your full PLL. I did that, I learned a few of them, then learned to use them in my solves, and when I felt like it I learned a few more. Took me about 5 months to slowly learn all of them, just last week I decided to learn the last 4 (the knight shape OLLs), for some reason I didn't want to learn them earlier because I always thought the recognition was hard, but it turned out to not be that difficult. I average ~14.5 seconds, probably should've finished oll a bit earlier.

I average like 15 to 20 sec without full pll and full oll I wonder how much I'll improve probably not by much but my last layer takes awhile certainly longer than my cross and f2l

learn it now pll is easier than oll and the only really hard cases are the g perms
I really don't get why people say this. I don't see how anyone could possibly find G perms harder than E, N, R, F, or V perms.

The only argument I've read which is vaguely plausible is that there are four of them so it's confusing, but you just need to figure out a good way to remember. With the algs I use, I just remember how the first move goes relative to the pair, and I have no trouble remembering which is which.

When beginning PLL, G perm regonition is the hardest part at first or at least seems like it. There's four, the algs aren't long. Only two pieces are solved.

Once your used to recongising them they're not that bad at all. The regonision is easy. They look much worse than they are. The PLL pictures with arrows showing where pieces go make it worse than it autcally is.

Same happened to me, but I'm about halfway through my OLLs and just learning 2/3 a day is a good pace.

learn it when you're sub12, even collin burns says you should learn it when you want to get sub11
I get it, he can do sub 10(actually a lot less) without full OLL/PLL. But I'm going to give it straight: it's a terrible idea to wait nearly that long. I learned PLL when I finally cracked sub-40. I suggest you learn it soon after 4LLL. If you're commited to CFOP, you need to learn Full PLL/OLL. OLL can wait a bit, but there's only 21 PLL algs. 3 a day gets it done in a week.

This drives me nuts. I understand G perms seem hard to learn, but once you start looking at where the correct pair and 2 corrects around an incorrect are, it's a walk in the park. It's how I learned it, and I was only sub-40. Trust me, it works.

Looks like you know your stuff(you're about 15 seconds faster than I am), but those are some advanced skills and full PLL/OLL should come relatively early in the CFOP learning cycle. Obviously, Full OLL can be pushed back a bit, as it's a lot to learn. But Full PLL? That's something that needs to come right after 4LLL.

That's what I was thinking
Come on man, there's so many advantages to learning it early on. For starters, you'll have more time with the algs you you can execute them faster. Secondly, Full PLL/OLL will decrease your times by quite a lot(relatively, of course). Now this may just be me, but I think that algs are extremely important. I'm trying to get my Full OLL's down, and I'm sub-30. I did my PLL's at sub-40. But averaging low 20's? you should've known this stuff by now. You should be thinking about learning a subset or two. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, so please don't take it that way. Just, at least think about it.
