well i guess he wins...2.02m Rubik's Cube and 21x21x21 Rubik's Cube. Do I win?
i couldnt do that if my life depended on it.My older brother who doesn't know how to even solve a cube completely dissembled a 7x7 and then put it back together solved because some kid asked him to solve it.
It's not hard, just tedious. Just keep placing pieces until you find one that fits. Then move on to the next one.i couldnt do that if my life depended on it.
That's a chad if I have ever seen one.My older brother who doesn't know how to even solve a cube completely dissembled a 7x7 and then put it back together solved because some kid asked him to solve it.
IndeedThat's a chad if I have ever seen one.
No, that is NOT me. Not even close to me. If you have seen my mega vids, then you would know what I look like.Indeed

I considered doing this after watching a tutorial on youtube, but then decided it would take too much time. I also found out a company may be mass producing one soon, so I will wait for that. But speaking of the "YuXin Gigaminx", I just did my first timed solve on it an hour ago and got 24:13. I wonder how that compares to other people's times.Yuxin Gigaminx
I disassembled it for magnetisation, and I spent 7 hours on that. It turns out to be very great that magnets work very well in megaminx and big cubes, and the gigaminx is kind of the mix of that.
Here is how I did it:

I'm not even sub 2:30 in comp for megaminx and I only barely sub 3 for 5x5 in comp. However, I'm sub 20 with my yuxin gigaminx M.I considered doing this after watching a tutorial on youtube, but then decided it would take too much time. As for the thread, I assembled about one and a half 7x7s last week. Now I have 8 outer layers of a 9x9 reassembled with a ton of tape keeping it together, waiting on replacement parts to finish the middle layer and put it all back together.
Back in the old days when I was serious about 5x5 speed and was using a Rubik's brand 5x5 (aka Professors Cube), I would routinely disassemble it, dump all parts into a bag, spray a bunch of lube in, shake the bag vigously to coat all the surfaces, and then reassemble. I'd do it like once every 2-3 weeks for over a year. I was dedicated back then doing over 100 solves a day of 5x5.
