I miss clock, wanted one actually
But clock isnt like any other puzzle so I kinda see the point of removing
This isnt the first time this happened however (Magic, Master Magic)
That isnt a fair comparison at all, magic and master magic were removed because they weren't twisty puzzles and because THERE WAS ONLY ONE WAY TO SOLVE, it was literally a how fast can you spam a specific thing, while clock has multiple methods which require a good amount of knowledge and skills

i compared them cuz they were "invented" by Enro Rubik himself (hear me out clock was added in 2004, so barely any care that time)
srry if i upseted you or anything

idk about all this arguing but if the wca is made sepcifically for Rubik's cube based puzzles which are vwry similar to it or work like it (basically like skewb mirror megaminx...) thwse are hand turning ones where you focus on fingertricks algroithems quick thinking but the thing with clock is its pretty focused on intuition and you cant "turn " it but its still a cool puzzle I was surprised it was in wca cuz its not that rubikish so you get me its pretty half half but it isnt supposed to be in the wca and since it was it shouldn't have been removed cuz it got pretty popular and people started to lock in using it puting it in the events in the first place made all of thw wca excuses to not put it pretty invalid and doing it now isnt a really good time
Esit: also the fto is very interesting I'm going to learn it soon it seems veey good I would appreciate any simulators anyone knows

why are we arguing about this

guys lets just agree on one thing and focus on saving clock fr
Do you realistically think that after the WCA's statement about ending Clock event, even with a community-conducted survey to back their points (whenever one can agree with the survey result or sample size, and its interpretation), they going to back down and say "sorry, it seems we were mistaken, Clock is back on the schedule"?
(This is not a provocative question, I'm generally curious.)

I honestly think that's not gonna happen. Some people are furious, maybe rightfully, but it happened before, and will happen in the future. Events are coming and going over the years / decades, because you simply cannot have everything, especially in a sport where organizing a competition event is already a nightmare.
