That isnt a fair comparison at all, magic and master magic were removed because they weren't twisty puzzles and because THERE WAS ONLY ONE WAY TO SOLVE, it was literally a how fast can you spam a specific thing, while clock has multiple methods which require a good amount of knowledge and skillsI miss clock, wanted one actually
But clock isnt like any other puzzle so I kinda see the point of removing
This isnt the first time this happened however (Magic, Master Magic)
i compared them cuz they were "invented" by Enro Rubik himself (hear me out clock was added in 2004, so barely any care that time)That isnt a fair comparison at all, magic and master magic were removed because they weren't twisty puzzles and because THERE WAS ONLY ONE WAY TO SOLVE, it was literally a how fast can you spam a specific thing, while clock has multiple methods which require a good amount of knowledge and skills
Clock is not a twisty puzzle either. That isnt a fair comparison at all, magic and master magic were removed because they weren't twisty puzzles
Learn how to read pls, I specifically said that because it has some similarities, but I said magic was removed because isnt a twisty puzzle and same solution, while clock isnt a twisty puzzle but its unique every timeClock is not a twisty puzzle either.
That does not change my statement. Clock is not a twisty puzzle.Learn how to read pls, I specifically said that because it has some similarities, but I said magic was removed because isnt a twisty puzzle and same solution, while clock isnt a twisty puzzle but its unique every time
Then why did you reply to my message, cuz I said there it isnt a twisty puzzleThat does not change my statement. Clock is not a twisty puzzle.
Then why did you reply to my message, cuz I said there it isnt a twisty puzzle
guys lets just agree on one thing and focus on saving clock frThen why did you reply to my message, cuz I said there it isnt a twisty puzzle
Do you realistically think that after the WCA's statement about ending Clock event, even with a community-conducted survey to back their points (whenever one can agree with the survey result or sample size, and its interpretation), they going to back down and say "sorry, it seems we were mistaken, Clock is back on the schedule"?why are we arguing about this

We have to try.Do you realistically think that after the WCA's statement about ending Clock event, even with a community-conducted survey to back their points (whenever one can agree with the survey result or sample size, and its interpretation), they going to back down and say "sorry, it seems we were mistaken, Clock is back on the schedule"?
(This is not a provocative question, I'm generally curious.)
I honestly think that's not gonna happen. Some people are furious, maybe rightfully, but it happened before, and will happen in the future. Events are coming and going over the years / decades, because you simply cannot have everything, especially in a sport where organizing a competition event is already a nightmare.
Well, can't blame anyone for trying. We have to try.
