Upcoming puzzles

V9 was a major disappointment for me. Yup, got influenced by the hype, and splurge on the standard and BC. Detest the non-adjustable and strong edge magnetic drag during solves. Needs frequent lube to temper it. At the price point, I wouldn't recommend it except to serious collectors.
Was looking forward to RS3M V2 reading that it has weaker magnets. But with the listed prices, I will give it a miss.
TV3 and YS3M are still my go to. Heck, nothing beats TV3 in my stable (sorry, no GAN to compare)

Summary of all the info on this Super V2 so far:

- Lighter than V1
- UV coating
- No-texture capped pieces
- Crazy fast turning
- Magnetised box
- Coloured internals

Looking at this list, I scratch my head and wonder how much real improvement in performance, or in usage (like adjustments) there is for the extra money you need to pay to get this V2. It does not seem particularly quiet or smooth either, or enjoyable, from early reviews. Wouldn't a YS3M, or a Tornado, which have more proven performance, make more sense? 🤔

the new Tornado (v3?) with the white internals, is probably the best 'new' cube I've gotten in the past year or two.

Yea the V9 has problem with insanely strong magnets, strong like the bell v1. It just stops itself during solves. Perfect if magnet strength is adjustable

and waaay over-priced (ب_ب) $48 USD for the Ball-core variant

why on earth would the RS3M v2 BC cost anywhere near as much as the Weilong v9 BC?
and worse, every version actually costs MORE 🤬
(cue the Dragnet music here➡️dumb dumb DUMB dumb)

TheCubicle released an unboxing YT video of all three versions, and in the description they give links to each cube with pricing on their site...
Think the lone ranger music fits better than the dragnet music: "to the dump, to the dump, dumb, dumb, dumb..."
:)

Moyu is ending the WRM line. The Super V2 is thier new flagship.
Noooo!!! That’s ahhh noo!! Will this be the end of the weilong series too???
Thats what I meant, not WRM
Spoiler alert: the release of another moyu 3x3 in July is part of the WRM line

The RS3M v2 reminds me of the v1 with its light turning. I tried the BC version and I have to say it’s a very nice turning cube. It feels like what the WRM v9 should’ve been. I don’t know what MoYu was thinking releasing so many 3x3s, but they need to really think about the naming and release scheme for these puzzles.
Do you think it’s better than the V9

The wholesale prices of the Super RS3M V2 are not shown above, so don’t blame me plz

Just curious if someone else noticed the change in this thread besides all the things with prices.
When I started watching this thread a few months ago, it was just letting people know about upcoming puzzles. Now I see a lot of reviews here, but is that is not what this thread is for right?
Also a lot of discussions about for example how many puzzles moyu is releasing.

Another new moyu 3x3 release coming in July,

Not gonna explain on the features of the cube, but I can tell that it will be my new main as I have tried one at comp in May
One thing
is it more similar to the rs3m super v1 or v2 in terms of looks
Nice to know. I will definitely hold off buying any Moyu cube until July.

Will wait for July's WRM news then...

This is the dream cube I’ve been talkin about, it’s essentially the WRM V9 but works a lot better
