Just out of curiosity is my progress normal fast or slow?
Should I be faster than what I am at 9 months?
It seems to me that there's three types of people:
People who get sub 20 in 2-4 months
People who get sub 20 in 6-8 months (me)
People who get sub 20 in well over a year, usually more
But in the end, two people can have the exact same average and they're sub 9 yet one person is in the first group and the other is in the third.
i think it comes down to how much time you devote to 3x3. A lot of people who get to sub 20 quickly may just practice 3x3 alot while those who get in a year either don't spend much time cubing or practice many events.
Which type does someone fall into if they get there in 5 months or 9 months? It seems to me that there's three types of people:

Dear Mark49152,Which type does someone fall into if they get there in 5 months or 9 months?
This was a generalization, mainly just saying that I've noticed people progress really quickly, really slowly, and about in the middle.Which type does someone fall into if they get there in 5 months or 9 months?
