cranberryjuice's Progression Thread- Road to Sub-30 avg. (3x3)

Also, don't delete sessions on CStimer. My 3x3 session rn has 846 solves. I used the time trend function, and I can see my progress graphed; it's so satisfying.

my 2x2 session is a roller coaster thou... anywhere from 1.8 to 24.52. 😁

Honestly, you should probably not worry about timed solves, but work on having fun and memorising 2LLL or the Roux algs.

Oh shoot.

2LLL = 2 Look Last Layer. ex. OLL + PLL. (Orientation of Last Layer + Permutation of Last Layer) makes all the yellow faces up, then puts them in the correct spot in 2 algs. There are 57 OLL algs and 21 PLL algs.

Roux algs = CMLL + L5E or L6E. (Just looked at your method on your post and saw that you don't use Roux, so disregard this.)

@cranberryjuice

CFOP is the abbreviated form of Cross + First 2 Layers + Orientation of Last Layer + Permutation of Last Layer. also Cross + F2L + OLL + PLL.

To directly answer your question, OLL + PLL is easier to learn than CFOP because it is only half of CFOP (kinda).
