Beginner OLL (2-look OLL) has 2 steps:

Orient the edges (3 algorithms)
Orient the corners (7 algorithms)

yeah, that's what I have it set to. It was ao5, idk why I changed it. I'll probably change it back bc everyone else uses ao5.

Also, I'm super slow because I cubed for 7 or 8 months sometime around Christmas 2017, then only did it casually. Then, about 2 weeks ago, I got an itch that I needed to scratch, and picked up speedcubing again. I'm really enjoying it now, more than I did before.

YES!!

F2L is the most important and slowest and hardest (for most) part of solves.

However, there are good ways and bad ways to learn F2L, I average about 23-24 with F2L taking 15-17 seconds. I'm not the best at it, but I know that a lot of people suggest slow solves, focusing on efficiency and choosing the best pair and not the first pair you see.

intuitive F2L i guess but you can average around 30 secs with just beginners method

Intuitive F2L is good to learn early, because even if it will slow you down at first, you can do much better with just intuitive F2L compared to beginner once you get used to it. When I first learned it, I slowed down, but then I began to improve much faster.

Yeah I'm a sophomore. Why would you risk your high school diploma on skipping school? Also, when I graduate, I want to go into carpentry immediately. Most of the trades laborers are retirement age, so we need to fill the gap.
