I saw there was a 3x3 version of this thread but I didn't thing asking there was appropriate. Also I was gonna ask in the one answer thread but wanted more answers from people.
So I just began using Yau to solve the 4x4 and am significantly worse at it as suppose to straight redux (3-2-2-2...) And I couldnt find any detail on yau method.
45-1:00 for redux portion with straight redux
1:00-1:15 for yau redux portion
(on 3x3 I avg 16 so I'm not too worried about improving that portion right now)
anyway for my breakdown I believe it goes something like
~10 for two centers
~20 for three cross edges
~20 for 4 centers
~20 for rest of edges
I'm sure I need to improve on all portions. But I'd appreciate some recommendations for each portion of the solve.
Also some tips on pairing three edges would be great as I haven't found a very systematic and efficient way of doing them yet.
