I'm currently having a problem with my 5x5 EastSheen, a week ago, it fell apart and now after I've reasembled it, its way too loose. I'm trying to tighten the screws, but can't get them any better. Are there alternative ways to tighten an EastSheen 5x5?

Thanks

Ha die Jacco! :D

I myself use the Mefferts 5x5: http://www.speedsolving.com/showthread.php?t=1544&highlight=mefferts
If you are going to the cubemeeting of Ron this January or somewhere else we can take with us and give it to you, they cost 29 euro's.

The Rubik's new 5x5's are also good, but they become crazily loose, but I got mine since Budapest and I just had 3 pops with it. But the Mefferts one can become very very smooth(not loose), you can cut corners etc... with it. :)

Anyway about the Eastheen, you could buy ''epoxy kneedbaar plastic'', it is some kind of dough wich exist out of two components wich you have to knead. Just screw the screws out and fill it up a little bit with the epoxy thingy and screw the screws just back in and let it stay there for 30 minutes.(Thanks Ton:D)

My Dutch + 5x5x5 alarm just went off :)

Rama, I have heard you very often about this Mefferts 5x5x5. But I cannot find it on the website. Can you post a direct link?

And I hope to see all of you at Ron's

You have touched it plenty often, but you like it but you don't like it either. :P
I think you are more the new 5x5 Rubik's type of guy, it is so loose that it is hard to get mini-corner pops.:D

Btw are you guys planning to go to the Danish Open?

Thanks for the replies, I'm wondering what the sizes of the Mefferts' and the OC are, as an eastsheen is quite small in comparison to an official Rubik's one. 29 euro sounds good Rama (how do you get them? They are currently out of stock at Meffert's).
Where can I find info about Ron's Cubemeeting? Can't find it at speedcubing.com.
Thanks

Nice hint Arnaud^^:D
Ton also wants to drive, so maybe we can drive with two cars? (maybe even three if the Belgian or French team also wants to compete):D

anyway the Mefferts 5x5's are just as big as the Rubik's ones(even better the first to be mass produced 5x5's) and now they don't produce them anymore.

Jacco you should e-mail Ron for the meeting.
