Alright here is the deal. All you have to do is do Sune(R U R' U R U2 R') 6 times(the amount required for Sune to return the cube to its solved state) and tell us your average and fastest time out of 5. Doing Sune 6 times is equal to 42 moves. So lets see how fast you are!

Doesn't really work, because you can cheat on the R' R. I used to do that when I only knew Petrus to break in my cube though. Just did one with cold hands...6.91.

Edit: Ten tries later - 5.41. I probably cheated on the R' R though. I can do sub-5 if I didn't lock up.

If you want a real speed test, RU'R'U or RUR'U' is better, and faster. And is an endurance test if you do it for a minute.

I agree with tenderchkn. The cancellations are hard to ignore. This is also true for F R U R' U' F'. This alg is a very well known edge-OLL, but if you perform it 3 times, it is actually an extended-sune that only affects corners. Because of cancellations it becomes F (R U R' U')*3 F'.

Actually, I think this should be converted to "full-sune" * 3 (or 6 for 2 cycles). A "full-sune" is a sune followed by U2.

I will try Sune*6, full-sune*3 and full-sune*6 tonight.
