Lars Petrus's own pronunciation of Sune

A few months back I asked @Lars Petrus to record a video with his own pronunciation of "Sune", since it's a bit subtle.
Here it is according to the Swede himself!
I've been studying Swedish for a few months now

and that is literally the ordinary pronunciation *IN SWEDISH*✅

but hey you got to meet Mr.Petrus and that's worth something 😎

To my knowledge, the confusion only started a few years ago when JPerm parodied the disclaimer on the Wiki page of Sune.
Which I believe was put there in place as to counter the popular incorrect pronounciation "Suun", as since then I have seen "ay" being used to describe the pronounciation of other words that get americanized.

The English have a fairly long history of coming up with (and rrreeeallly sticking to) their own mispronunciation of words (and thereafter Anericans as well haha);
and the longer such goes on, the more people learn new words with those mispronunciations until basically a lot of non-English words and names nowadays are often (sometimes more than) a bit off, and
"Everybody says it that way" 😾👻😅
