Been a while - been grinding Big Cubes.

5x5 Average

Old: 3:01 // New: 2:31

6x6 Average

Old: 6:30 // New: 5:20

Now: For anyone who thinks they are bad at big cubes (5-7) - Take notes.

I've been practicing mega a lot which is all about efficiency. One mistake i was making was that during centers i was trying to be super efficient which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but- because centers barely have little to no algorithms, i need to just focus on turning fast and looking ahead. Same concept for pairs.


Megaminx: I'm now averaging under 1:45 (cutoff) but i wanna try for a 1:35 average so that in the case i get nervous i wont choke cutoff.

7.9 ao50, hoping to get a low-mid 7 average during my comp in December

Now. 7x7. I brought it to school and did a few solves and got heavy cheering and applause, even though im so bad. But those 3 solves i did at school were the only ones ive done in the past 2 months. I will be doing an ao12 in the next week.

First sub-2 5x5 single

Hoping to average sub 2 by the time my comp rolls around on december 16th


So....

I've been struggling with a lack of time to practice due to school and my other hobbies. Which is why i'm dedicating myself to

A) At LEAST 1 hour of practice on weekdays
B) Targeted practice each day
C) something else starting dec. 3....

In other words, i'm playing less video games to start cubing more. Hopefully this will make an impact on my solves.

As you can see, this could've been twice the speed if i didnt fumble it. I'm also gonna submit this to Cubehead's Try My Scramble 2.
