You could send an email to local delegates as well. On the WCA website, under the information tab, click WCA-delegates, and find a delegate from the UAE. There should be an email icon you can click on to send them an email.

I found one but I don’t have an email this account uses my mom’s email. If anyone could email baha alshwaiki (the uae delegate I found) regarding comps in the uae.

Hey all,

Haven't done any blind practice at all due to school syarting Wednesday.

Today, (apart from church) i spent most of the day doing slow solves to train my lookahead, as well as megaminx solves.

I've actually just realised that i average sub 30 in OH. From my first comp, ive imprived my average by a full 13 seconds, from 42 to 29. I think i will start to docus more on OH and maybe even learn 2GLL.

@TheSpeedSkewber is Christian and attends church on Sundays rather than competing. I believe they have said that most UK comps with 3x3 are on Sundays.

What i need to work on:

Recognition. 4 out of the 7 seconds that f2l takes me is recog. I really need to work on planning the pair during execution, as executing a pair withput thinking comes naturally to me now.

I'm switching back to the WRM 2021 Maglev.

Don't get me wrong, the WRM V9 is an amazing cube, but the WRM 2021 is a lot more reliable, and with my V9, i had to sacrifice gumminess to get speed, as i found the v9 very slow.

The 2021 is also a lot more reliable, and i get better average times on it (altho worse singles)
