The L.O.T. Initiative

Well this one is definitely TPS-spammable

As for my experience with the method, making the 1x1x2 was trivial, making the 1x2x2 was doable when I made a "pair", inserted it into the F2L slot, and took it back out to pair it with the edge, but making the full 1x2x3 from that was basically luck for me

As for its potential, I feel that it's a bit too awkward to compete with something like CFOP or ZB (eg, very constrained while making 1x2x3, lookahead might not be great, etc), but I feel that one could probably push this to sub 8 or sub 7 global (I average 18 and my level of method diversity is averaging 25 to 30 with ZZ so I'm not the most experienced in this field)

bro you did well and like I said, it will be perfected. But you think there is that much potential? I AM NOT EVEN SUB 9 so yeah that is a huge compliment in itself thank you for trying it!

I got the APB OH WB single with that case (it was that into a Ua perm)

Yeah this is definitely a version of tripod method. Tripod solves up to F2L-1, then builds a square in the last layer, leaving 7 unsolved pieces in the shape of a tripod. From here, traditionally you'd solve the F2L leg of the tripod, leaving 5 pieces to be solved in 58 algs. This method solves one of the U layer legs of the tripod instead, leaving the F2L leg to be solved as part of the last step.

thanks for clarifying bro I hope it will evolve to be original soon though!

You realise it's just a j perm on green right
The idea was to combine zbll and j perm together, making the legendary overkill technique!
I have 2 of the sets so far.
THANK YOU BRO I will check it out!
it wasn’t that exact case though
as i’ve mentioned, it was a similar LS case into a Ua
still being developed but your critique is greatly valued!

This is a conceptual method that requires someone who is decent at 2 things: 1. Developing new algorithms 2. Knows and/or is quite familiar with ZBLL and related techniques. Now I will say the interesting part, this is called the L.O.T. Method because it combines f2l with OLL and PLL and is, in theory, superior to ZBLL. (Legendary Overkill Technique is the abbreviated title) So you start with the standard CFOP approach, (cross and 3 f2l slots)and using the last slot you will begin permuting the cube. To do this, you will need to build blocks in the U layer (intuitively, as follows, 2x1 block [1 U layer edge cross] 2x2 block [1 corner + another U layer edge cross and makes a 2x2x1 block] and solve 1 more pair [makes 1x2x3 block] Now you are left with the last f2l slot to solve as well as the 3x1 bar in the U layer. This is the most difficult part primarily because there is no real "wiggle room" to speak of, and is where your experience comes in. Solving that last f2l slot while ORIENTING and PERMUTING the last layer all simultaneously is where I am stuck at, but I hope I said this clearly enough for any of you to understand. This is a cooperative initiative, and is my hope that everyone can actually bring this technique to its feet well enough for intermediates such as myself to learn. I also hope you enjoy your day! (P.S. if it is easier to do this on 2x2, then it can still be applied)
This method has a LOT of potential :)

See what I did there ;)

Is that the case from @Faz 's OLL 3 mover video? SOrry I am colorblind rn bc I am on a ammzon kindle.

BRO THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR! not only algorithms but a well organized page to learn it from! Will you please help make the 1x2x3 block more efficient also? Just wondering and really appreciate you taking the initiative to do this for me! Thank you!
