I can get the cube but how do you input the alg?

Glad to see this in action! 😃

Depending on community feedback, we may make notation changes when we move to Twizzle beta (and possibly again for 1.0), so I would recommend something like "twizzle-alpha" instead of "algtwizzle" so that it's possible to automatically distinguish/upgrade the alpha version in the future.

There are also some obvious features we can prioritize to really help here. Until we have a way to show the alg in the player directly, though, it might be worth adding a <twisty-alg-viewer> below each player.

<twisty-player id="unique-id-1a2bc3"></twisty-player>
<twisty-alg-viewer for="unique-id-1a2bc3"></twisty-alg-viewer>

Also, is it at all possible to add more parameters to the markup?
In particular, it's probably really valuable to be able to specify whether the animation should start solved or end solved. If there isn't a good way to do that, it might be worth having two kinds of tags?

It seems you're using a curly quote (’) rather than a regular quote (') in the alg. We currently support an exact syntax and don't plan to support any sloppy parsing/autocorrect — I'll make a note that we should display a clearer error for this.

Is there a chance you could reconsider your position?
I feel allowing for more apostrophes as prime characters is still well defined as to not be considered sloppy.
And it's a relatively major usability issue as in many languages the default apostrophe character is different and e.g. French will almost always write their algs using the "wrong" one.

Yeah, I understand. I've thought a lot about it. But this opens the door to a bunch of technical issues, and I expect we're going to be pretty firm on this stance for the player HTML itself until the whole implementation is more mature.

For Twizzle I think the best way will be to address this at the point where algs are entered: by setting the input field to disable smart quotes, or by correcting quotes when an alg is pasted.
Ideally the forum would also have a way to handle something like that.

Ok so:
[algtwizzle=3x3x3]R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R2 U' R' U'[/algtwizzle]

It just means I have to hold tap on the apostrophe (phone keyboard) to actually get the correct syntax

Edit: I actually only have to turn off smart punctuation on my phone so now it's fixed!

This thread seems to crash the browser on mobile (tested Safari and Brave and both crash when opening this thread) - another user reported this as well.

Can def add more parameters or another tag. Let me know the suggestions and I'll add it.

This would be really handy to reconstruct solves or describe algs. I can't view some of the cubes but I think thats my phones problem. Really cool. (Looking forward to seeing the example solve threads being updated with this :D)
yes you can't view some cubes in mobile phones. I was watching this thread when I was on computer and now I'm on my mobile phone.

is it possible to post reconstructions with this or just algs?

(didn't manage to post reconstruction idk y)

I can't see 2x2, 3x3, megaminx, skewb, or master tetraminx on mobile.

Motorola One 5G Ace. I've attached my Android OS details.

I don't really care about any of those except 2x2 and 3x3 which I feel should really work on mobile.

Nonetheless, awesome work. I am astounded by the 40x40 and its level of detail even on mobile.

Yeah, I'm glad to see the reports in this thread!

Browsers can run into more errors when using a lot of separate 3D contexts on the same page, so this is a great stress test. Before doing anything fancier, let me see about testing some ways to make it more robust.

For people having issues loading all the applets in this thread, I'd be curious how this page looks for you:
