I use cfop and i average 21-22 secs. I know full pll. my cross takes 2-4 secs, f2l 10-12 secs, oll 4-5 secs and pll 4-5 secs (5 secs if it is a g perm). I use partly advanced f2l. I want to be sub-20. pls give me tips to be sub-20. my cube is the moyu weilong wrm 2021.

Either post a YT video, or recon, and I could help too! I'm sub-17. Mainly, I would say just watch ALL OF Jperm's advanced F2L tutorial; he makes the algs intuitive, which made me sub-20.

Alright! I just crunched the last 2 lightning bolt cases (the ones that aren't a fat sune) and I think I completed full OLL, I'll review everything tomorrow and post an update

Do you inspect the entire cross during 15 seconds of inspection?

I just got sub-20 a few weeks ago. I say work a lot on F2L lookahead. Work on doing your algs around 2-3 seconds each. Your cube doesn't really matter. Watch Jperm's sub-20 video. One more thing: PRACTICE.

Regarding your split time I would say that the biggest potential for you is on the last layer currently.
I'm around your times, maybe a little slower but my OLL and PLL are mostly faster.

Can you tell how much of your OLL and PLL is recognition and how much execution?
Maybe if you have a smart cube, you would see it.
For me it's usually around 1s for recognition and 1.5-3 seconds for execution.


For me the potential lies in Cross and F2L. Can you always plan your full cross?
I can do it most of the time but if not I end up being over 25 seconds.

But in the end it's just a lot of practice...
I was for a long time at around 27-28 but recently I made a jump to sub 25, sometimes (at home) also around 21-22.
But I can't tell you the reasons, just that I see the pairs and cross solutions faster and better.
Maybe it helped getting into Megaminx where you need much more recognition, maybe practice just paid out at some point.

I have a mega and it really helped getting sub-25 but not lesser. I can plan my cross in inspection unless its really really hard. my pll and oll both take like 1 s to recognize and 1-2 s for oll and 5-6 s for pll to execute. 1 pair takes like 1.5-2 s and I know how to solve all cases. I just returned a trip and I will send the video as soon as possible.
