stuck megaminx

i recently purchased an MF8 Tile Megaminx II from cube4you.com and as i was learning to solve it for the first time i noticed that a corner and edge pair were stuck together with what i assume was excess glue during its assembly.

i eventually managed to pry it apart with a screwdriver :S (i thought it might break)

is this the first that you have heard of this happening??

That's how my mf8 came. Only a few pieces though and very easily broken apart without much force.

better to check the parcel when it delivered.
however i never met with such problems coz i only bought cubes on ebay, taobao or buy from sellers face to face. after all they will check the product for me and if you buy from those e-shops such as mf8 or Vcube etc, they never check it before delivered

you should've complained first before prying it apart! now you can't get another free minx

same thing happened with my icecube 2x2 just cut through it with a steak knife.

dam this is my first time buying cubes from online (only ever had storebought).

didn't know i could get another free minx! that would've been pretty cool.

my megaminx was also glued all together when I got it just massive force, throwing it ino the floor, smashing it with a screwdriver... and then it suddenly worked again =)

That's how my Mefferts Pyramorphix came. I had to disassemble the entire puzzle. Was a nightmare to put back together. Got it done though

i have now disassembled, loosened, silicone sprayed and reassembled my minx.

its very very smooth and cuts corners

definately a great puzzle, regardless of the prior issue
