Hi everyone,

I'm new to cubing and have recently been able to solve the 3 x 3 a basic way (white cross, layer by layer, yellow cross, etc) using the basic rubiks cube. I recently bought a speed cube through amazon (not sure what brand it is) and it looks like we are able to flip the corners of the cube. My daughter brought the cube to school and I think her friends ended up twisting the corners pieces multiple ways. Does this make it unsolvable if that is the case? cannot solve the 3 x 3 anymore due to this. I'm able to solve almost of it but cannot find out why these two corners cannot be placed i the correct corners. See pics below. Any help will be appreciated!

The cube is not unsolvable. face the red side and do this alg to finish yellow layer- F' r U R' U' r' F R
(unless the pieces were taken out and put back in different places)

Hi,
Unfortunately @Exmestify is right, the cube is unsolvable. You can either use the algorithm that they provided or you can take the corner pieces out of the cube and put them back in their correct positions.
Hope this helps!
