I installed CCT today on my computer set it all up, picked the right mixer, and plugged my stackmat, turned it on, and nothing happened. I checked all of the cords and they all work. I also plugged headphones directly into the stackmat and i couldn't hear a beeping noise like I know there is supposed to be. Does anyone know of anything that could be causing this?

once i plugged in the timer, and nothing showed in CCT , after some time i discovered that the line in port (the blue port in the computer witch i plugged in the timer's cable) was on mute (using windows XP) so i reomve the tick from "mute" and works for me.

The way I check if my stackmat signals are actually comming through is by using the "Sound recorder". I plugged my stackmat in my microphone port and started recording. I think you can hear the different sounds when things happen like reset timer and stuff. Maybe this is something you can check out.

You also need the right converter between the stackmat and your 3.5 mm cable. Are you sure this is set up correctly?

I also had problems with weird numbers showing up. In the CCT options however are a few settings that you might need to change like I had to.

You can go to File -> Options -> Stackmat settings and make sure to check the three settings for 15 minutes 165 secconds and 165 hundredths. After this my numbers showed up correctly. Also I have the stackmat value at 50 and sampling rate at 44.100 (might be standard, don't know if I changed this).

It would probably be helpful to list your OS and other information. Have you tried http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ao_ijydyHpw ? There have apparently been some bugs with vista as well, so if you are using vista could be the issue.

It looks like I have the same problem he had in the video, if i disconnect the cord a little it registers, but i can't seem to get it to stay registered.
