This is a fairly average solve for me, intuitive f2l, two look oll, full pll.
Personal best is 44.97.
My f2l really needs attention, im working on it :)

I know its not quick, but its improvement from when I first joined the forum. (http://www.speedsolving.com/forum/showthread.php?t=14315)

Just keeping anyone who's interested informed of how i'm developing thanks to this forum :).

i 'm just like you. I have around the same average but i do 2 look pll...from your video u really need to lube ur cube because it looks like it doesnt turn well much. Also you need to do better at your f2l...slow down and look ahead. Use metronome. Also you need better recognition on your oll and pll it was obvious..u spent some time just looking at the pieces to see where they were. Im guessing u didnt recognize it that well. But hey were on the same boat just keep going we both are going to improve good job man

I would recommend getting a new cube or at least new stickers. Having faded stickers can make recognition a lot harder. Other than that just keep practicing. I was were you were about 2 months ago and now im down to about 30 second solves.

Thanks everyone for the feedback, much appreciated :)

I'm planning on getting a new cube very very soon, still stuck on making a decision about what type.

I've lubed this cube a few times in its (very long) life, and it is turning slightly better now after a recent re-lube, but I think the cube itself is just pretty bad :/ Its certainly a time to give battered old faithful a rest anyhow. :P

As for my method, I think in hindsight I rushed into things a bit.. instead of working on my beginners method, or working with a two look pll for longer, I plouged on through learning new things without practising consistently, and despite being able to learn algorithms etc. in a pretty short time, things that ultimately gain time, such as lookahead, I haven't concentrated on :/. I've been working hard at my f2l and also quicker recognition for cases for the last layer just by practising. A lot. I'm seeing my times becoming more consistently under 50 seconds which is good and hopefully in time, I may break my next major milestone of half a minute...

Thanks,
S.O.
