It does look like the center piece is in wrong, but I don't see how that's possible. I would have said to tighten it, because that's what the Maru guy told me to do when the Maru 4x4 came out, but this should not have the same problem. I'd say just take the whole thing apart, and while you're putting it back together, try to see where the problem might be, and then post it on here. Also, maybe you could email the store you bought it from, and get the guy to watch this. He may be able to tell you what happened. From what I've seen, it has the same exact mech as the X cube 4. I have no idea how it could misalign. The tensions can be the only problem.
