Good review, I've a question:

In the video at 3:55
you state that the inner layers can turn alone. I'm not able to see it in the video, but are you preventing the top layer from moving while your moving the inner layers?

Or asked differently: When I turn the inner layer, will all the corresponding outer layers come with it or not?

My VCube 6 did not turn the outer layer when i turned the inner ones and i hated it

Occasionally if you turn the 2U and 3U layers the U will not go with it, but usually it does.

Thoughts: This is the smoothest puzzle I have ever played with. It's just fun to solve. I've been wanting to get into the high order cubes (6x6 and 7x7) for a while now. Right now, I suck at it (11 minute average), but I hope to improve enough to be able to compete with it. Overall, an excellent cube.

The best 7x7 cube in my collection. Turns nicely, pre-lubed by the seller and is tensioned just right for me.

Item: White Shengshou 7x7x7 Mini
Where Got: http://www.51morefun.com

This is a good cube. But as I have big hands, I prefer the full size one.

Cube: SS7 black normal size
Price: 20$ (not fake)

Only 7x7 if ever touched never pops locks up a bit and I'm surprised there is quite a bit of corner cutting. My turn speed is still really slow on it(14-15 minutes to solve) but it feels really smooth and not that heavy(not as heavy as my rubiks 4x4 used to be before I broke it).

N. B. heaviness of the TURNING, not the cube, which is quite heavy.
