Why. Why would you want to force people to buy a cube they don't want to use, and force them to give up on the cube they've been using and enjoying for years? I think they should both be allowed in competitions when the regs get changed. The other thing is, I find it really hard to hold a large cubic cube, I can just about cope with the V6 but I tried holding an 8x8 and its really hard for me. I imagine others will have this problem too.

IIRC, Ron said that, as soon as a good cubical 7x7x7 is widely used, the pillowed ones won't be competition-legal anymore.

The black cubic Shengshou 7x7x7 that I pre-ordered from 51morefun.com arrived today. It came with an extra set of stickers as a bonus.

It took 20 days (including the Easter long weekend) to get to my home.

It is a really good product and is well worth buying.
