I'm curious.
Let me be clear: I don't mean cross color. This is not about color neutrality while solving or something like that.
"Default color orientation" means different things to people, but for most people it will be the orientation that they use for BLD and/or scrambling. I realize people might be inconsistent with this, but I'm going to assume you have a most canonical personal color orientation, or just do it somewhat randomly for most uses (e.g. they've never had a need for a preference).
For a long while I did Yellow/Red for U/F, but I see the value in standardization for things like scrambling, so now I scramble White/Green as in the regs, and I teach people to use it (my roommate Brett uses it for BLD now).
So, my default orientation is still Y/R for everything but scrambling, then for scrambling I use W/G.
By the way, how about standardizing the order in which you tell your color orientation? I propose "U/F" like I used above.
