This might not be an original idea, but I was thinking about doing the last corners of the Roux method together with orienting the edges. If one would learn both COLL and CMLL, you could be able to do all cases with all edges oriented and three flipped on the top. With the latter you could do the orientation before or after COLL, but it's probably better to do it before COLL. Also by using CEFLL you could do all cases with 4 flipped edges, but not 3 on top. Knowing how all CMLL algs twists edges will of course also come in handy.

As far as I know there are 19 orientation pattern for the last 6 edges. With 48 cases of U-Corner position this would make at most 19 * 48 = 912 different sequences.
I think L6E would be much easier and faster than that. Also, you got a lot of time to analyze the orientation pattern while performing CMLL, with the 28 special cases the orientation step should not be a problem.
But you can easily learn some variations of the sequences.
R'U'RU'R'U2R does not flip any edges.
r'U'RU'R'U2r flips UR and UB.

B'RBR'U2R'U2R flips UR and UB.
M B'RBR'U2R'U2R M' does not flip any edges.

Kind Regards
Martin

My idea is kinda based on that 3 flipped edges on top is good enough, so 912 is a gross overestimation. As I said you only need COLL and CEFLL (50 algs total) to do all cases with 0 and 4 flipped edges. For one flipped edge on the top you could also use CEFLL, which just leaves 6 flipped edges and 2 flipped on UL&UR, UF&UB or DB&DF. For 6 flipped edges there's 25 cases and with the other 2 flipped cases there's 25 or 50, if you want to do M2UM2 or not.

100 or 125, of which some are CMLL. You don't really need all of them, when UL&UR, UF&UB or DB&DF are flipped it's probably best to do CMLL first, which leaves "only" 75 algs. Just using CMLL and COLL should be quite good, since you get two chanches to get lucky with the EO (before and after the corners).
