Starting with the Nourse method many years ago, I later switched to the (modern) beginner method, then CFOP, and then settled on Roux as my main method.
Learning full CMLL was my New Year's resolution, but I had to abandon that when I realized it just wasn't going to happen. Maybe I'll learn it someday, but I'd have to put in a lot more effort than I'm willing to right now.
I find 2-look CMLL to be a nice sweet spot--super easy to learn, and reasonably fast. It also transfers easily to big cubes and one-handed solving (i.e., the algs are easy enough to execute without muscle memory).
I actually signed up here in order to access the images at dudefaceguy's Alternative 2-Look CMLL: Permute-First. I'm not sure if I'm going to switch to this method, but I'm definitely going to try it out. Hopefully it will save time compared to orient-first, and be fun as well.
Quick question about that link: the "Niklas" mentioned for the adjacent corner swap (L U R U' L' U R'), is that the correct algorithm? It seems to unsolve the DBL corner. Standard Niklas (R U' L' U R' U' L) will swap the UL corners, and its L-R mirror (L' U R U' L U R') will swap the UR corners. But I'm not sure where L U R U' L' U R' comes from.
