The vast majority of the time I use M, so that's what I put. On the odd occasion, if it's very convenient, I will switch to E.

It depends. For 5x5 and on I use M all the time. On 4x4 I use M for the first 4 pairs to get them solved on the left then I do a z' so I use E and use a 3 pairing method to get the rest.

Thats funny, for most people who do it like that, they do first 4 with E and the last 8 using M.
