im not sure if there is a way to tell, if you want to get the right version i would recommend getting a ss 4x4 off of a cube store.

I would consider myself a beginner I guess, I can solve a 3x3 in about a minute or so and I want to move up to a 4x4. I'm not really going to get really really into speed solving, I just want to be able to solve it. Unfortunately my parents only want me buying from Amazon so I am limited on options. Two cubes I am interested in are the Shengshou 4x4 v3 and the Mini QJ 4x4. The thing is, amazon does not specify which version shengshou is on sale. Here is the link:

I heard that v1 is not very good so I don't want to make the mistake of buying the wrong one. I thought I should just go with the QJ to be safe, until I found this forum. Also, which would you guys reccommend? The QJ or the Shengshou?

That is the v3
i ordered that same one (using amazon gift cards i have stock piled)
its really good out of the box, but i suggest doing the florian mod. (i did mine with a nail file and 2 hours of spare time)

It has a dayan box in the pictures but on the description it says ghousthand
its confusing

The box is Dayan, the picture logo on the cube is not Dayan though.. confusing indeed.

The cube out of the box does look like a Ghost Hand, and the cube in the ZhanChi box does look like a Dayan. The two pictures are of two different cubes...

Yup, both are hollow.

Thats a Ghosthand as well, from what I know that its a newer and personally, better version of the ghost hand, i have both the old one and the new one and i was confused all the same as you were

That is a ghost hand but I can not find exactly which one. It is not a ghosthand I or II for sure as I have thoughs.

Hmm maybe someone else knows. I am very curious. It came in wrong, but I wrote to all sellers that could POSSIBLY have sent this one and I think it is going to seek asylum here lol. They are all denying.. so.. *shrug*
