I recently got a pyraminx from a garage sale and it turned pretty decent but the colors were all a dull shade of brown. Any particular brand that has colors like that?

I thought that the Alpha II - SV cubes were discontinued. :???:

the original one : yes
now they producing the version 1.3 ones.
Only have 1 tab on each edge (see pictures who sell it) instead of 2 like the original (showned by PestVic on his new type a videos)

Got this 2x2 cube from Taiwan. I need to know what kind of cube it is to find a tutorial for assembling it, because I popped it yesterday and I can't fix it.

Looks like an Eastsheen. They are very very difficult to put back together. I don't know of any good youtube tutorials, but I did it by breaking off two of the corner stalks from two adjacent pieces. Take the center that is popped off, and use that as the top layer (U face) when assembling. Make sure the 2 pieces with the corner stalks taken off are part of the u face. Assemble it, without the center piece and with the corner stalks in place (no caps). Once the whole thing is assembled without the center, place the center, and rotate until it pops into place. The cube will be tight again and won't fall apart. Then put the caps back on the corners.


This is as clear as I can get. I recommend getting a screw-spring 2x2 though.

Eastsheen mechanism, but very easy to pop.
