Hello

Do you know what cube is this? This is as sold in Spain, but center caps in the inner side say 'FEN YI' , and there is a black plastic tube between screw+springs and center piece

file.php

thank you!

The stickers, or rather... tiles.. look very similar to the ones on a cube i got from Puzl.co.uk

http://www.puzl.co.uk/competition-s....html?osCsid=d8618e790791afa896720e2709e1b310

That one, althought the blue isnt that bright blue on my cube.

But yeah, your cube looks almost identical except i dont the logo on the inner center peice.

EDIT: oh wait, saw your other pictures... the Puzl cube doesnt have the washers on the screws like yours... everything else tho seems to be identical.

why are the type c hardware same as the taiyan hardware (core also)? are they made by the same company?

it's a long story..but basically type C sorta "split" into two, one makes the type C DIY and the other is the so-called WitEden

Mr. Bao collaborates with WitEden to make his DaYan puzzles.

that is a GuoJia 3x3 cube (国佳, the one that makes the diamond cube, not the Alpha).

how do you identify it?
it has a wierd looking shape of core:eek:

yep, it's the core.

Speaking of this cube, it amazes me how crazy knockoffs in China could be. Originally ShengEn made the type F cube, and it didn't take very long to have this cube victimized by knockoffs. The first knockoff is by a random factory called it "夢幻魔方". It have a white core with a weird shape, and is available only in white (i think). Then WeiChi Plastic Gifts (威馳) started to buy these cubes and retail under their own brand name for puzzles, 国佳 (GuoJia[1]) Magic Cube. Later, they opened their own molds to mass produce them using the 夢幻魔方 as the model.

Basically the GuoJia[1] cube is the knockoff of the knockoff of the Type F cube ~_~ (Type F Knockoff^2).

The 夢幻魔方 and GuoJia[1] cube is almost identical. the only difference is that the shape of the spring column are the bottom of the centerpiece is different. GuoJia[1] is round, and 夢幻魔方 is rectangular. (So i was actually wrong, the cube in the link should be a 夢幻魔方.)

Also, GuoJia[1] cube have shorter springs.
