Edit: Don't QJ megaminxes have logos on every side? Also, the colors look different..

if it has a logo on everyside, that isn't allowed for speedsolving, because the rules say that it can only have one logo on the cube (correct me if i'm wrong, because thats the rule for 3x3's, not megaminxes)

The QJ megaminx I have here has logos on 4 sides. Nobody ever stopped me using this puzzle in WCA competitions!

my bad, i guess its different for 3x3's

No bad! The logo regulations don't seem to be very strongly enforced, otherwise mf8 and QJ megaminxes, QJ 4x4x4s, and probably a few other popular puzzles would be disallowed due to the embossed and raised logos on tiles of more than one side (but note: not all sides, therefore distinguishing).
3j) Puzzles must be clean and must not have any textures, markings, elevated pieces, damages, or other differences that distinguish one piece from a similar piece.
3k) Puzzles must be approved by a judge before the competitor competes.
3l) Cube puzzles must have at most one logo. For Rubik's Cube or bigger cube puzzles the logo must be placed on one of the centre pieces.
3m) All puzzle and sticker brands are allowed, as long as the puzzles comply with the other WCA regulations.
I think we can assume that puzzles in competition are implicitly approved unless disqualified by a judge on the day. You may not be so lucky if a judge decides you puzzle is non-compliant though!

It's QJ's
But the old tiles
The old ones dont have any QJ marks on them

I recently recieved an order from popbuying.com. I had ordered two type C's, one white and one black. Both bags had the correct sku attached, but I believe I was sent a black type A-V by mistake. See the pics in the spoiler. The black one has a screw and a big and small washer while the white cube has the large washer as part of the screw.

From the pictures on popbuying.com, I'm pretty sure I'm right about this, I just want confirmation.

Sorry the pics are so bad, I don't have a great camera. Thanks!

Yes, the black one is indeed the Type A (V)
but the white one I'm not so sure..
Judging from the edge, it's a Type A (I)
But i dont remember if the A(I) has that kind of center or not...

Hey all :)

I just spent about 10 days in Korea, and I bought myself a few cubes (all the same). They're absolutely INCREDIBLE. They come pre-lubed, tension is adjustable, etc. They're super fast, don't lock up, cut corners well, etc. Best of all they only cost be about $1.70 each. Here are some photos:

The cube:

No tracks or anything like that:

As you can see, every single piece has caps that come off:

Any idea what cube this is? This is probably the best cube I've used in my two years of cubing.

It looked like a mini size..
what size is it?
judgin from the cap, it's similar to Fs
but it is neither F (I) or F (II)
does Sheng En produce Mini Fs??

Hi, I'm korean.

That cube is called DAISO cube in korea.

Because DAISO(1 dollar shop) sells that cube in 2 dolloars.

That cube is worth using speedcubing.

Many people use DAISO cube in korea as it is cheap.

So I have many DAISO cubes.

But I don't use it...

It is painted in each side such as type E(diansheng).

But two cubes are different from the viewpoint of edge pieces.

Diansehng has a unsealed pieces, but DAISO cube has a sealed pieces.

That cube is also similar to type F(I).

First, it has round pieces.
Second, it is worn out easily.

I searched many websites.

And I found it in Taobao.com .

It is made in china.

It is definitely different from type F.

It's screw is similar to Edison cube's.

And It's core is too terrible.

So I recommend you to hybrid C4Y core.
