That's a Diansheng and a Mini-diansheng.

heres something i found on a carboot a few years ago.its at least 3 years ols and weighs a tonn.it feels and moves like a mefferts but just differant enough to make me think it isnt.any help?

its probably just a rubiks. The mefferts and rubiks 5x5s are the same mechanism.

ive had a rubiks 5x5 before and this is much heavier...still confused..

this is probably an older rubiks. in 2007 they changed the design, resulting in a much lighter model.

Birthday Cube

I was not really sure where to put this, "Hardware"? Perhaps.
It is not off topic because it is cube related . It is not a video.

Anyway, my nephew got this for his 27:th (yes, 3x3x3) birthday:

It is not the usual colour scheme, "you can't get it all".
I am not sure it is a solvable position either. Anyway, it was a good effort I think.
(I do not know the "cooks").

It also looks a little weird inside after the first "pop"

I reckon it's a hybrid. C core, A springs, K corners and E edges.
