I'm not sure If you're trying to tell the difference, but if it has black screws its a dead giveaway that its real

Not necessarily, I own neither version I’m just curious what this cube was officially released as, what years it was made, and what the box looks like.

I think it’s a Qiyi Windmill Cube.

Its a windmill, but judging by the color shades it does not look like my qiyi one. Im pretty sure its the YJ V2 one

Looks to me like they have rebranded some old QiYi cubes.
