Best OH method?

Low movecount is not good if you have to use M Moves.
If you use ZZ, even if you COLL for OCLL, then you have the same chance for a pll skip as you do a H-Perm.
And for Roux, unless you are good with the table guided M Moves, then roux is going to be trouble for some.
What are you expecting one of the best OH methods to be easy? Everything takes practice, just like learning M moves for OH.

ok so just so you know, this is where I'm at with the methods discussed here.

CFOP - Not efficient enough and imo doesn't deserve to have the wr. LL algs overwork too much.

ZZ - EO recog is a pain and will need big regroups to change between RU gan and LU.

Roux - F2B feels nice to do OH and feels ergonomic. I just need to do better M moves with the table. Seriously considering.

Nautilus L5E - Kinda like roux but L5E is simpler than LSE. Maybe.

Nautilus EO. Lots of trigger like algs and seems unnecessary when you have roux instead.

YruRU. Too complicated. But if you can make a good argument as to why a beautiful 2 gen finish is worth battling through CP and EO with, then please do.

Roux is pretty much the best OH method known so long as table abuse is allowed. It’s the only other method to hold WR at one point. In a world without table abuse, ZZ with ZBLL is probably the best. Also as a side note, you can get around the RUl issue by doing EOLine, right block, z rotation and then build a second right block and the original L face will be the LL face

EO recog is a pain like any new idea is a pain. With practice it'll be second nature. And the RUL switch can be negated by either doing one block, a Z rotation, then the second block (I'm lefty oh so right block, z, right block) or by doing one block, z, building the next block on U, then a Z back. (I'm lefty so, RU gen right block, z, RU gen top block/left block), z')

Anyway just do Roux

UPDATE: so I'm practicing Oh roux and am getting several sub 30s, including a 24! My short term goal is sub 30 and to watch walkthroughs from some of the greats

Not necessarily??

CPLine is so simple lol idk why people say it's hard
CPline isn't the most complex thing if you already have experience or it just clicks automatically but for some/a lot it can be very tricky. I just figured it out intuitively a minute ago after studying the YruRU github page throughout the week to no avail.

CP line is most definitely a challenge.

If you get a scramble where DFL and DBL are "solved", then remembering which trigger to execute is pretty trivial. But, more often, you will have to intuitively plan out a CP line solution which inserts DFL while solving CP. This is not trivial.

If CP line is all you plan during inspection (which is a realistic expectation), then you are spending the entirety of inspection planning ~5 moves to solve ~3 pieces. (FBCP could be possible to plan in inspection, but I've never heard/seen anyone doing this. And I feel like the Briggs 2 approach to FBCP would be better here.)

That doesn't even get into the conversation of color neutrality. To aid in corner identification/recognition, Mehta recommends x2 y2 color neutrality for YruRU. And color neutrality is extremely hard to achieve with CP line in 12 seconds of inspection. I might even argue that it is nearly impossible save for maybe a handful of extremely gifted people.

All of these points give the nod to Roux over Briggs/YruRU in my opinion. Spend your effort mastering OH LSE (with table abuse) over mastering CP line/2GLL. My $0.02. (My opinion would change if table abuse were ever disallowed from OH solving.)
